I definitely keep getting countered. That, and the person swaps out their weakness immediately if I bring out a type stronger than theirs.

I believe it. I used to be a denier. Three days into the remix cup, I hadn't seen a single electric type. I start using Toxapex and Dewong in the back. Out of nowhere, electrics everywhere. The first set had a Galvantula and Magnesone in the back. The next two games had a Galvantula of course. And if it wasn't a that it was some other electric type. I stopped using the waters immediately, magically all the electrics went away. Not a single electric after that…
I had a 10 win streak and went on a 9 loss streak. Same team and the algorythm hit
Biggest problem for me is whenever I change my team after a rough set then I get hard countered more consistently. It's better to get to know a team and master it well enough to play around bad leads and swaps etc.
Lots of people tend to say you can tell if your opponent is a bot if they stop attacking but that's not always true. If someone is respectable they will not attack when you are lagging and some strategic plays require not tapping in certain situations. Now I've faced players around the 2800s to the 2900s that have the default avatar, no pose, and a weird name. I am convinced those players are bots
I never get electrics on my opponents team(GL Remix) when i used Qwilfish, Togetic and a trash Vigoroth. Once i upgraded my Vigoroth because the last one was successful all i got were trainers with A.Raichu, Raichu, and Stunfisk. Went 0 for 5 and cut the game off. Not sure what to do for today.

Yesterday i won 80% of my matches while today i lost 80% and almost every time its hard counter city
Well. Niantic doesn't like to give away items, as you know how things have been harder to get. I don't think some of the opponents you get that hard counter(sometimes), aren't actually real, but botted by Niantic. I would say to ensure their items aren't leaving like candy. It is possible to do btw, so am algorithm is totally possible
This is 100 % true. I've been stuck on level 20 for several weeks.
If I find a team that is awesome the algorithm does this and forces me to change my team. BUT I've noticed that you get rewarded with easier fights if you switch your mons often and if you choose more unusual mons and if you pay attention to the weather and change mons to match the weather (not only weather boosted, but also easier matches).
Show 6 pick 3 solves so many of the issues. After all these years, whatever you think, it's crazy how PVP has had no updates.
The GL was there only thing that wasn't pay2play but now they've ruined that buy making us pay 15$ for the#1 pokemon so much for a level playing field 😢

I've been messaging them on help about how much of a mess and rigged this game is. They're that sick of me complaining about it being rigged AF they've stopped replying back 💀.

Im glad you posted this video since Im sure there is a hard mode for some accounts. And for people to deny that fact, lag and lag exploits, and the algorithm exist is to not only turn a blind eye when its all there but be willfully stupid.
I see golbat and quagsire all first 5 battles. Then I switch to counter them and for the rest of the sets they were no where to be found except me getting the hare counter. So ridiculous. And when u complain in the chat box about it all they’ll say is “sorry for your experience heres a free premium raid pass for your troubles” like GTFO

Idk but shadow dragonite, nido queen&king. Dragonbreath/dragonclaw/superpower, poisonjab/poisonfang/stoneedge,and doublekick/earthpower/sabdstorm respectably. All 3 shadow they had been working nice having the dragon as the lead and depending on what i get ill adjust.shadow nidoking is a MONSTER with energy lead and at least a shield. It even beats ice types with ease 🥰🥰🥰🥰 obviously it has its weakness but it’s really fun to use. Please give it a try and let me know. Hurry you got till tomorrow lol

Honestly this is really starting to make me want to stop playing pvp altogether even when i switch the teams up, lead pidgeot, guess my opponents lead? alolan sandslash, any and every time ive gotten to ace almost no progression further because of the worst lead losses possible along with hard counter this SHIT IS SO FUCKING INFURITATING.

Back in the Day I was at least a Veteran. Nowadays I am only a Ace.
I used to knock the algorithm theory around. But I'm getting better at the game learning about the counters to pokemon and I'm seeing the light now. I 5-0 4-1 and then I'll get 0-5 1-4 and its annoying. I just want to play against randoms not the algorithm. So I lament gbl.
I just use the opposite of the recommended for ultra and great league and that seems to work won't well

You play against real players so a hard counter for you is a good matchup for someone else. Just plain logic and not you against 'the system'. Its your mind playing tricks on you.
