It’s a new feature, and players have to create the routes. So get out there and start walking! (Remember to not create a route from your house because I’m pretty sure it’s shared with other players).

My menu has a “create a new route” button, even when I’m in the middle of nowhere. I’m assuming the features is rolling out slowly, because I’ve seen very few others have it, but you should be able to make your own routes eventually!

Currently in the middle of downtown Montreal. I have no routes on my nearby. Going through another area of the city, I was able to see a grand total of two routes (in separate instances). I was able to make routes during the playtest, but the vast majority were denied (for no apparent reason). I cannot make routes now, as I get a “you have made too many routes this week”

Don’t feel bad. I’m smack in the city in a heavy tourist spot with lots of active level 50 trainers and there’s no routes here either
But like.. it says “to make a route to go a pokestop to choose as your starting point and it start route”

Did some digging, apparently to make a route, you have to start and end at a poke stop or gym, record the route while you’re walking, submit to Niantic for review and wait until it’s approved. I wish they had computer generated routes to start tho

I tried to make one I couldn’t do it. I started at a PokéStop try to fill went to route. They just said there were no roots available. I want to make one, but it doesn’t allow me to.
