April 1st is the only event that guarantees u a ditto so until then keep trying my guy🤷🏼♂️

Are you catching the pokemon that ditto mainly inhibits? Like litleo/roggengola etc? Youtube vids will help you here to see what can be a ditto in the Month of July.
Those are a high priority catch and just pray to the RNG gods you get one.
Also; if you have campfire; keep an eye out for posts from other trainers.
Some (like me) tend to post photos of 100 IVs, kecleon, dittos and where they got one/what it was. (Please note not everyone will do this so just hope someone does)
It may not be much; but it’ll definitely increase your odds of potentially getting one
This is a long shot, but the special research that came with the Professor Willow TCG card guarantees a Ditto encounter! Until then, I guess it’s time to drown in Snubbul, Starly, and Litleo.

I finally caught a corphish that turned into a ditto
I bought a willows research code off of eBay for like $2 and it worked perfectly. Bought two codes and each worked
You just have to catch a Ditto and those 2 quests will complete. Hope that helps.
Yeah getting ditto fucking sucks, I got one yesterday and it was hidden as a tympole so go for those
