Probably a stupid question that I already know the awnser to cause God forbid Niantic help out healthcare workers who work weekends, if I can get a few 2km eggs this morning and wait to put them in incubators, will that get me some riolu or is it only eggs gotten during the event?

The Japanese website that tracks shiny rates has it at about a 10% shiny chance with over 21,000 total hatches reported so far.
That puts the odds of 4 in a row at 1/10^4 or 1/10,000. Congrats!

Im so salty about this… I hatched 14 eggs and didnt get a single shiny or a hundo.
I hate this game so much and i missed an hour of the event because of work… I bet thats the difference between a shiny and no shiny since i got to play for 2 hrs
