What’s worse though – Having no routes, or the only one being 4 miles long?
Over 2 hours with a bunch of hills in 90+degree weather? I think I’ll pass.

Um no route. 🤷♀️

I’d recommend biking it if possible, should cut down to like maybe 1 instead of 3 hours

My son and I were lucky to find one that was ~1km yesterday, however the end forced you to walk along a road where there is no shoulder. What makes it worse is there is a sidewalk on the other side of the road. This whole rollout is a mess.

Yeah, the only one I’ve found is over a mile long, walks you through an area where you’re likely to be harassed, and at one point leads you around a temporary construction site and right into the street. Pretty less than ideal imo

honestly I’d do it if I had that one lol.
having quests that are literally impossible to do bugs the hell out of me.
I’m all for quests being hard to do, especially if the rewards are decent.
but if they’re going to make routes a requirement, and build an “event” around it, they should at least exist.

Yeah I won’t be doing any routes that take over 30 mins to complete.

Do you have to do the whole route for it to count? If so, along with the fact that almost no one can find or create routes in the first place, then this may be the single stupidest feature in any game. This company continues to be hilariously incompetent and user-unfriendly

I am in a fairly large city and have not found one. How large is the range when selecting the routes tab on Pokémon go? Is it similar to campfire where you can zoom in and out?

Cursed amount of meters 💀

Just pretend you are reenacting the Wizard of Oz, except instead of making the long journey to Emerald City it’s…a Walmart
John_Stay_Moose
All to end up at the scenic Walmart…..
va_wanderer
6,666 meters to Walmart? That’s deliberately evil.

I am with you…the only one near me is almost 1.5 miles and says it will take nearly an hour. It’s in the mid-eighties now with real feel of nineties, and the most frustrating part is I CANNOT see the map for the route so I have NO idea if I follow this to the end, do I have to walk ANOTHER 1.5 miles in this heat to get back to my starting point??? And to top it off, the game kicked me out at least 4 times in the perhaps 20% of the route I did manage to follow (don’t DARE click on a pokemon while you’re on the route). This whole “feature” is a damn mess.

I tried to make a few very doable ones in my area for local trainers that are just wanting to move on with the Zygarde research. I chose stuff like designated running trails and walking paths. All are 0.5 KM to 2 KM. Nothing more than about 15-20 minutes to complete. Easy for popping DAI and knocking out the research. All still pending review though….

But you get to go to a Walmart! How exciting!
CooperDahBooper
And the destination is Walmart?! Hike for 2 hours just so you can be shanked for meth money??
AppropriateTheme5
Nah, that’s like a fun little trip. Definitely not worse than no routes at all.

This sounds crazy but how are you seeing that interface? The only interface I see is from clicking nearby and then seeing Pokémon, Raid, and Route.
ShiShiRay
Grab an E scooter and head out. I’m sure that’s how some of these routes will be made. I seen some players in the local area and cities playing that way.
I still find it a little funny to see weather measured in Fahrenheit, just seeing the high numbers.

I have one near me that’s 2km, but it’s a loop

Also, in order to give a route a one to five star review: You must complete the route.

I think the latter, because at least that proves that they exist
