Pokemon Go

I did 14 Raids, and not one over 89IV. Same on my 2nd Acc (not 14 though). Is it bad Luck or a Bug?

whats that icon on the right of your screen?

I just did my 3rd, all remote. 11 premier balls per raid, golden berry on all throws, 90% excellent throws. Every. Single. One. Ran.

89% is still above 50% for ivs from possible raid ivs. You’re expecting a 98%-100% but the truth is whether it be above 12/12/13 (or similar ivs for the 50% threshold) or below is a 50/50 shot. You’re not actually very far off of the average, and to get a 98%+ you’re gonna need to do more raids to get closer to that average, you’re not near the amount of raids done right now. A hundo for example is 1/264 (I think that’s the number?), and 96%+ is something like 1/125 if I remember correctly. If anyone reading this knows the exact numbers, please correct me.

Not trying to be a downer, I’m just putting into a more mathematical breakdown.

I’m sure there will be plenty posts here about the hundo/shundo others caught.. just like Zygards.. meanwhile here I am with a 2 star.. *keeps scrolling*

The chance for 90%+ from a raid is 35/216 or 16.2%. Your scenario happens with a probability of 0.838 ^ 14=8.4%. So, while unlucky, it will happen to tons of people.

  7. I did 5 and my best was a 10 11 11. i gave up after those
