It makes me anxious that at the end of a long exhausting walk I’m gonna absentmindedly use it on a Snubbull. I’ve been trying to keep pokeballs around so it’s at least pushed off the screen but failing

To be honest I don’t think I’ve ever had this master ball. I’m level 5. I recently restarted playing after a 3 years of hiatus.
Doesn’t it ask you if you’re sure you want to use the masterball?
Yes, especially as my 6yo son used it to catch a starley.
Yes, as I was distracted once and almost used it on a seedot.
I want to have to enter a pin number or turn 2 keys at a time to use it. I lack discipline.
If they had two or three confirmation prompts that you’d have to click “Yes” two or three times before it lets you use it.
I just went ahead and used it so I didn’t have to worry about that
It’s so insane to me that it’s placed where your ultra balls normally are if you delete all the regular pokeballs. I also had to get in a habit of always keeping 1 red ball. A habit that has stuck around even though I used my master ball months ago lol

You gotta be on something to accidentally use it, like it shows you a warning before using it.
A couple times I’ve been spamming the ball menu and accidentally click my master ball.
I know there’s a secondary menu, but I have a mini heart attack every time.
If anything, there should be something in settings to hide the master ball option. Would be a good way to prevent any accidental usage and prevent someone else who’s using your phone (your kid for example) to use it.

maybe a ‘are you really sure you want to use the master ball’ question after the first and the confirmation is in a different spot as well. then you still have to actually tap/throw the ball to use it.
How do you get a masterball?
I got rid of it when I was down to my last ball. Cause I’d just come back to the game and someone told me if you spun a PokeStop with 0 balls they’d give you 30. I got 3 and lost my master ball. All I used it on was a shitty Dragonite.
My son likes to catch pokemon on mine (uses all my gold razzes while he’s at it….) but we’ve had to have a discussion about don’t touch hmthe purple ball. So far so good but it’s only a matter of time.

Maybe something like rocket radars that you can equip/unequip. If you unequip masterball, it won’t appear with the other balls as a choice
Yes, I almost used it once but refreshed my screen to not accidentally use it. I also don’t keep red balls so it’s always right there.
I’ve not finished this task for exactly this reason when there’s something I want to use it on, I’ll finish the research.

I’ve accidentally brought up the prompt of if I want to use it several times. If I was distracted I could have easily clicked yes without thinking. I mean once I accidentally double moved a Minun that I had no intention on using for anything.
YES. It makes me so nervous to even see the confirmation screen. My friend just turned the game off when they saw the confirmation screen lol I wish it was on the far left instead. I really want that Galarian bird to appear so I can just use this stupid precious ball and get it over with.
It’s also worse in the summer because of the super bright sunlight making it harder to see the screen and my brain is melting while my fingers are mindlessly catching stuff.

Forreal!! There are so many things in this game I’ve done because of stupid placement. I’ve bought a 400 coin jacket of a team I’m not even in, leveled up Pokémon I didn’t mean to, transferred instead of favorited all sorts of dumb things 😭
As someone who had a 5 year old use a masterball on a yungoos. Yes I do wish it was buried.
