Did you leave him in Antarctica?

I had a spearow in a gym in rural Pennsylvania a few years ago. If she had stayed 2 hours longer I would’ve gotten a gold medal
justincouture89
Damn that’s impressive must be somewhere remote

Dayum. that’s a vacation.
Gracie_DeLunac
The longest I have ever had a Pokemon away was over a month. 1 year is insane. Congrats. Maybe it will eventually come back.
jottlys
Do you want him back ? 😂
Responsible-Gas7568
Only good part about rural Pokémon go. Nobody is attacking your gyms. I live in a huge city and am extremely lucky if I’m able to hit that 50 coin a day limit
Nuggetzfan
This is illegal in 48 states
Particular-Lie-3055
Wouldn’t that be a Titanium Medal with an annual honorarium?
RareSpicyPepe
*finally gets knocked out*
*50 coin limit reached for the day*

I feel like after a certain point you should be able to recall your Pokémon 😂

My gym dragonite with low attack is named Toothless too! Kind of a trip seeing that here lol

This got me on a sidetrack…if you buy the 1000 coin team medallion to change teams, say from red to blue or yellow, can you then go knock out your own pokemon from your old teams gyms?
Or would your pokemon even stay in the gyms if you switched?
ResponsibleManner917
I’d be like ok alt acc knock it out now I want my friend back
something-wrong1234
Maybe it’ll submit a two-weeks notice and stop being your pokemon at this point
BlackDogElegy
Can someone explain to me how long you have to have a Poke in a gym for the medals? I have a Walrein that’s sitting in a church gym for a one lane backwoods road that’s been in there for 76 days. He’s not my longest though. I had one sitting in a forested hiking trail that happened to be alongside an interstate. I just barely got it in before we left the area. It was in there for 110+ days.
Golden_Skylord
do pokemon in gyms not get automatically knocked out at a certain point? mine keep coming home and i go to find the gym only to see its left unclaimed
RedRising14

I was so proud of a gyrados I’d just evolved that I left him at Guadalupe Mountains National Park. This was in 2020, a couple weeks before the shutdown. It took 8 months to get him back and I thought that was some kind of record lol.
therealstephano1
This is why I always put my extra snorlax in gyms lol
jwhitestone
A moment of silence for poor, lonely Toothless.

There’s a gym near me with 5 Pokémon in it ranging from 390ish days to 40. I think about taking the gym but I don’t even know how to get there other than bee line over a cliff. Also I’m not tryna have a Pokémon stuck for over a year
Spiderduck579
Holy shit, That’s actually pretty impressive, was that gym in Antarctica?
