Things like this are always best answered by up to you. The mega is better and I would. That being said a lot of people will argue it’s easier to get another high IV normal then another high IV shadow. But I don’t know your Pokémon maybe you already have a fully leveled 13/15/15 shadow tyrant.

Shadow tyranitar is the best dark type attacker (bite/brutal swing)
Mega tyranitar is strong indeed, but you can live without the hundo mega and have a better non-mega option while also having a strong mega. Non-shadows are easier to come by and a 14/14/14 shadow ttar will be better (in pve) than anything other than a 15/15/15 shadow ttar, excluding megas.

Noooo I would kill for a good shadow tyranitar like this! I would immediately spend the 550k stardust (if I had the xl candy, I need 214 morefor my shundo, and I would need even more for this shadow…) but still… damn I would love a good shadow like this.

Shadow Tyranitar with 14 Attack IV: 315 ATK
Purified Tyranitar with 15 Attack IV: 266 ATK
Plus you will have many more chances to get an even better non-shadow ttar in the future than chances to get a shadow this good again.

I was so goddamn stupid back then I had 0 extended PoGO knowledge (filthy ass casual) and I purified my 90+ iv Larvitar to get the Hundo. Now you have Mega Tyranitar raids across the globe and even without it Shadow T-tar is consistently the best Shadow Mon in existence 🤦
