Honestly hoping they focus on side games here. No need to push out anything big as they just released S/V, give them time to focus on the DLC. Maybe a teaser for a new legends game, but even so I wouldn’t want that releasing until 2025 honestly

I haven’t enjoyed a game out out by Game Freak (or BDSP) since Sun/Moon so I don’t have any expectation of that changing.

I can’t bring myself to be excited for these when they’ve become so predictable. Majority of it is gonna be mobile game fluff before they talk about SV DLC and maybe Detective Pikachu Returns.
We’ve decided to commit to releasing games of the quality you have come to expect- so our Gen 10 release will be a Nintendo 64 game!
Maybe they’ll release the older games on the eShop with Pokémon bank compatibility, and integration with Pokémon Stadium
Played Pokémon Scarlet, my first new one since Platinum and God damn was it boring as hell in every conceivable way. So I’ll pass. Gonna just play my Crystal emulator until they make one better than that.

Highly looking forward to this – going to keep my expectations low, but hopefully:
Crossing my fingers for at least the GB/C games to come to NSO, though – and hopefully including the first Pinball game
And hopefully a tease for a new Legends game, unless it’s too early for that?
Though I don’t know if it’s going to happen immediately or at all, but would love to finally see a translation and localization of the second GBC Pokemon Trading Card game, too that was only in Japan originally (though we don’t have the first one yet, so may not happen any time soon)
Is this the part where I hope for the Game Boy Pokémon games and get disappointed again?
If this doesn’t show anything other than mobile games and the already mentioned DLC, I’m calling Nintendo and asking for them to buy out GameFreak. All the mainline Pokemon games coming to NSO or Stadium 2 would save it from getting completely bombed. I’ll even take Pokemon Pinball.
Detective Pikachu Returns and Scarlet/Violet DLC is what I expect. Plus, mobile crap.
The only announcement I could MAYBE see happening is a new Mystery Dungeon game to release early next year.
I doubt we get a new gen or remake, especially when the Switch successor is rumored to be released at the end of next year.
Can’t wait to learn more about the SV DLC while the base game still runs like hot dogshit.
Please Nintendo for the love of god just give us the gen 1-3 games on switch already. There’s no excuse we don’t have them yet

As a lifelong fan of Pokemon since Red and Blue, I can honestly say for the first time EVER that I don’t give a shit about whatever they do next.
Scarlet and Violet was so offensively broken that it finally killed my interest in this series.
I’m gonna be very pessimistic, but I’m not really looking forward to this one and I’ll just wait for some recap later. They’ll probably announce stuff for Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Masters EX, Pokemon Cafe Remix, and Pokemon Go … which all of those get frequent updates.
(OH, and Pokemon Sleep, that’s gonna be on the mobile stuff too now … fun …)
At best I feel we’ll get coverage for the upcoming Scarlet/Violet DLC and the Detective Pikachu game (both which were given some coverage on the previous direct).
The neon lights tend to really hype things up, but as Admiral Ackbar would say, “It’s a Trap!”
I really don’t see them adding the older games to the NSO, wouldn’t they rather sell them separate like on the 3DS?
