The only real graphical issue I notice is weird pop-in/rescaling of environment objects that are at medium distance. It’s not constant but often enough to be noticeable.

Unreal Engine 4 is really taxing so it’s not always ideal for the Switch but when it’s used well, optimized well then the results can be great and give you some of the most impressive games on the Switch. Recently Rain Code used it as a Switch exclusive and it was incredible what they’ve been able to do with water effects and lighting, a lot of details everywhere for a Switch game. Spyro Reignited Trilogy was absolutely gorgeous too in both modes!
So I love to see Nintendo’s teams using it given what it can do!

I don’t always take in game screenshots while playing through a game but I couldn’t help it with Pikmin 4. There’s so many beautiful moments and just awesome contrasting colors of all the pikmin that I had to. (Also that last boss fight… wow)

this just shows . . . . its not the size of your hardware that matters, its the motion of the ocean.

I’m mixing a LOT of metaphor here, but you get what I mean.

Honestly I’ve loved my time with it. This is my favorite game this year so far.
