Shiny legendaries from raids have a 100% catch rate, so you can just use a pinap berry for candy and throw a ball without worrying about a throw bonus

Congrats! Also, I’ve heard that shiny legendaries in raids are guaranteed catch first time you hit them, so if it’s shiny don’t stress about losing it

Nice! I guess I got lucky with my one and only Rayquaza raid–caught it with the second or third throw, even though I often have problems with legendaries (it took me three tries to catch Zapdos last month).
