This is the single weirdest announcement I’ve seen in a looong time.
Rockstar barely has any presence on Switch. There’s no RDR2 on the console, nor there will ever be for obvious reasons. This is only coming on Switch and PS4, an old console that’s no longer supported, with no XBox or PC version, despite those audiences being desperate for the title. The Switch itself is quite clearly at the end of its lifecycle, meaning this release will not have a lot of traction in terms of sales (though I will definitely buy it). Possibly the weirdest thing is that this is not even a remaster, it’s the old game ported to Switch and PS4 a solid decade after its initial release. All of the above is happening in less than two weeks time with barely any advertising.

Played it. I mean like 2 gens ago. It’s cute that nintendo finally has a console with enough processing power to play a game from 2 console gens back. But I would imagine even switch owners have probbaly already played it hell the console and game they play it on would peobbaly cost less than the cost of it on the switch….. So what the point. Literally £1 for skyrim on 360 as well

PSA: This Dumpster fire is a port that is developed by another studio AGAIN. Also not only its a port but a CUT DOWN port, PS and Switch players are getting a lesser version since its missing multiplayer and its 50 Bucks, also no 4K or 60 FPS so yeah the definitive edition is still on XBOX since you get multiplayer and 4K (2K on Series S) and costs alot less. Classic Rockstar Moment
Are the same folks that did the gta trilogy doing this one? I remember that having a lot of issues at launch.

It’s great that it’s coming to switch. Very exciting. But… $50 for a 10 year old game port?? Nintendo themselves didn’t even charge that much for a Metroid Prime REMASTER.
This is just a port, not even a remaster. No PS5 version either? Just. Very disappointed.
