Was there an event that gave a master ball? Haven’t been here in quite awhile
i’m saving my masterball in case they ever drop the shinies of these versions of the birds. i might be waiting for awhile lol
Nah I reckon they’re going to add something that needs it more. Arceus maybe? The birds arrived before the Master ball and can be caught without them so not using it on them is smart
Is there any way to tell from the CP if this is a 3-star? My wife used her Master Ball on one of these but it turned out to be a 0-star.
I didn’t play when the master ball got released, but I would say if it’s 2900 cp Galar bird or higher would be the only time I’d use it
The Galarian Birds’s rarity will end up like shadow legendaries and shiny deino/gible/noibat’s rarity. Save it as a backup ball for a hundo legendary/ shadow hundo legendary
I used mine on a 3110CP Galarian Articuno. If not then, when
G. Articuno around 3k is exactly what I’m saving mine for.
I have not because I have the galar birds in home. Im waiting for when I can do a raid with a legendary I don’t have or want more

I think those are what the master balls are for. I’ve only ever ran into the Zapdos, but I hit it with an excellent throw, ultra ball, after giving it fruit and it immediately burst out of the ball and ran
Not a chance.. you can encounter that using a daily incense.. I’ve encountered like 5 moltres that fled but if you look at youtubers vids they catch multiple of these plus the moltres I’ve encountered. Just have to have an excellent throw while using berries and youll get lucky eventually 👍

It’s my personal favourite design so I did use the master all, but if you’re not even invested in it it’s a subpar Pokémon in practice
People are quick to use their master ball on the birds, but in all honesty you should wait until you’ve caught 2 out of the 3 and use your master all on the last one
I’m saving my Master Ball … until I accidentally use it on something stupid like a piplup as I’m clicking quickly.
Real question is catching this thing even possible ?

I used mine for this exact thing. I saw this Pokémon almost a year ago and hadn’t encountered it since. Idk if it was “worth it” but I love how this Articuno looks so I said “screw it”

What if you use it on a 1* and then you do a Rayquaza raid and it’s a hundo, and you’re down to your last ball, and you wish you had a Master Ball right about now. You throw the ball. It half-shakes. The hundo runs. You regret everything leading up to this moment. You transfer the Galarian bird out of anger, and sadness. “Why did I do it?” you ask yourself in self-pity, “Why couldn’t I have saved it?”
Save it for a possible Hundo Mewtwo encounter in the future.
Are these wild encounter Articuno different from the ones captured at raids?
Encountered this yesterday too with like 2,6k CP and I already used my master ball on a galarian zapdos with 1,4k CP (unfortunately it was only 1 star aswell). Kinda regret I didnt save it for the galarian articuno, it’s so much cooler
If i miss zapdos from my kanto medal and i find a galarian zapdos will that count?
I used my masterball to catch it. And I’ve only seen it once. So I didn’t want to miss the opportunity and caught it
