great game but I can NOT stand the voices and all the talking
I wasn’t keen on the demo which is strange because I enjoyed 3.
Excellent to hear. Pikmin deserves all of the attention it can get, specially now that you can play all of the four games on Switch.
My wife and I are about 15 hours into a co-op playthrough and my only gripe is the lack of a real co-op campaign. The pebble pitcher is extremely helpful, but, well…
No matter what, it’s a great game, and I’m glad we have it. Hopefully Pikmin 5 doesn’t also take a decade to release 😛
After being soured by the demo, I ended up liking it as much as the previous titles. I just hope they add in Mission Mode as DLC as well as QOL updates, especially the option to turn off auto-aim.
That’s great news, total sales are likely close to a million in Japan then. Hopefully it’s selling well elsewhere.
Well deserved. While it has a couple of rather glaring flaws (aggressive auto-lock, far too much tutorialising…), when it gets out of its own way it is a wonderfully designed game which takes the best of all three previous entries and balances them very effectively. Fingers crossed for Pikmin 5 on the next Switch.
Please don’t make people wait a decade for the next mainline game Nintendo.
That is an amazing hold compared to 100k last week, Holy *pikmin noise.* Pikmin fans, your days in the shadows are over.
Game is legit incredible, I couldn’t believe how much great content there was. I replayed Pikmin 1 and 2 prior to 4’s full release and basically between the demo and full release, I came to terms that 4 is a differently designed game and that’s OK. So glad all 4 games are on the Switch now.
Well deserved, the game is fantastic. Having played all four on the switch, this latest one is easily my favorite.
I’d love to know how this number compares to more prominent titles
Wow
I wanted to love this game and did up until the first credits rolled. I was really enjoying it. Then I tried to do the special timed side story knowing you needed to do it to unlock the other side stuff needed to unlock the Purple Onion.
It went from being a super chill and fun game to being super stressful and I just couldn’t continue.
100% it’s a me problem and I know I could have technically ignored the other stuff and concentrated on 100%ing the rest of the areas but I wanted those purple fellas!
It deserves any accolades and sales it gets though.
I had never played a Pikmin games, the demo for 4 on switch got me.
To me they finally fix the bad controllers and some of the weird hard bosses spikes. This game earn these good sales.
I just wish it weren’t release so close to TOTK, i’m still playing it
