Koraidon and Miraidon have Amazing Potential in Pokémon Go. Koraidon can learn Counter and Dragon Tail while Miraidon can learn Volt Switch and Dragon Breath so they’re good to go.

I think the reason there holding off on gen 8 is because of dynamax and gmax. It’s a very complex gimic. But I could be wrong but that’s just my guess.

I’m not a fan of how niantic decided to rush into gen 9 without bothering to bring out gen8 starters. And no dynamax should not be an excuse. I am hoping to see them bring in the charcadet family but serious niantic don’t forget gen 8 it needs love too
