Don’t be scared, the same thing happened to me days ago and I solved it on Sunday with Greninja’s day, well the night before helped me with the meltan box, and in the morning the daily incense then in the afternoon the community day, thats easy, only farm couple balls
Spotlight hour (or community day) with a couple incense will take care of it.

Start catching at 12am. Have an autocatcher running all day. Use incense & lures. Fast catching is super helpful. Do this all on a community day or spotlight hour.

Honestly got this task done the first week with an auto catcher while shopping in my nearest city… didn’t even notice I had it done, so that might be a way to avoid the “annoying” banner

if you have Pogo++, it helps a lot!!!
I finished that task for just catching around 30s then let the pogo do the rest. just make sure you save a lot of pokeballs and pokemon storage.

When you quick catch regularly, it let you know immediately if you caught the PokƩmon or not.
Spotlight hour (or community day) with a couple incense will take care of it.

As a recent newcomer to level 40 myself, that bugged me too. So, one Saturday, I just went to a park and kept catching PokƩmon until I had 200. I was there after dark but I got it done.
