Pokemon Go announced their new season GO Battle League: HIdden Gems. With this we saw a ton of move updates including buffs to walrein, dunsparce, alolan sandslash, clefable, emolga, and others with a nerf to trevenant.
This week is ultra league fantasy cup and master league. Ultra League Fantasy Cup is a 2500CP league with only dragon, steel, and fairy.
In this video we look at top teams for fantasy cup ultra league. This league will be dominated by registeel.

I was going to try out fantasy cup but now looking at top teams videos and realising I don't have a registeel counter I'm going to stick with master league
What are your thoughts on double iron bash Melmetal? I think it has a lot of play being able to hit fairies for super effective and superpower for other steels
I'm thinking something like escav, aslash or exca lead with galarian weezing and slurpuff in the back

I’m greatly looking forward to unleashing my 2500 Tapu Fini with Hidden Power Fire in this cup. The only thing it can’t hit hard is Fairy, and Surf is still there to wear them down

Superpower dragonite, Escavalier, Excadrill. Maybe not at the top ranks for legend players but last time I played this cup if you can dodge tapu fini this team did a very good job.

Hey Dan, what would you use if you don't have an XL Regi Steel?
Is a-sandslash worth building for open ultra? Or just too much dust? Can build shadow and regular but not sure if its worth

Hopefully registeel won't still be every since it would take building a new UL Regi, or tm'ing away a legacy move. I wouldnt want to run zap cannon flash cannon. Never know what people will do though

I've had a lot of success with fairy double dragon using tapu lead, giratina safe swap, dragonite in the back. Registeel can be a a bit of a problem depending on alignment but overall not too bad.

We need a solid year where Rsteel, Giratina, and Precipice Blade are banned. I have zero respect for people who run that trash.

It's been a beast and I'm having fun. My Ultra league team is tapu fini, Escavalier, and Sylveon. So I've just subbed in Slurpuff and I'm running Tapu, Esc, and Slurpuff.
4/5 three sets in a row so far. I'm Ace rank.
Also, haven't seen a single Regi. I think it might be like little cup where theoretically Ducklett was queen, but everyone ran anti-Duck teams.

Lol Registeel needs a nerf
It's basically master league meta, loads of Giratina Origins, melmetals, etc. The origin giratina is really hard to beat with the shadow balls charging up quicker than the moonblast on Clefable for instance
Man this cup limits the choices unless you've got some of the more obscure Pokemon built. Today I had the most success by miles with Melmetal (superpower, rock slide), Giratina altered, and Tapu fini
