Pokemon Go announced their new season GO Battle League: HIdden Gems. With this we saw a ton of move updates including buffs to walrein, dunsparce, alolan sandslash, clefable, emolga, and others with a nerf to trevenant.
This week is great league, ultra league, and master league.
For those keeping score at home, that’s 14 straight LEGEND season. This is a very meta great league team and is very easy to get ELO with – swampert, sableye, registeel.

I would like you to use my pokemons for Try Hard team, I would certainly learn a lot. These are my decent PvP pokemons – everyone with double moves and with what PvPoke suggests including legacy moves unless stated otherwise. I tried a team with toxapex quagsire and haxorus. Its doing great.
I went from 2850 to 3017 with focus blast hypno in OGL. Spice > meta
And one question from my side: I have rank 23 Medicham that I dont have XLs for (go to 1500 without bets buddy at level 50) and rank 17 Lickitung that go to 1496 at level 49.5 – should I just stick to them and walk them all the way, or should I just level up to 1500 whatever like 13/15/15 Medicham and Likitung I have XLs for now, use them in PvP and then walk these two good ones to replace weak ones eventually?
I did it! I finally hit legend! 3040 elo. I never thought it would happen but I went from 2818 to 3040 today with the extra sets and only having one 2/3 and a 1/4 sets

Would like to see more non-XL or legendary teams for Ultra League
Here's what I've got: Medicham, Lickitung (both of which are like 1430ish cp, mear max) , Vigoroth, Quagsire, Pelipper, Lanturn, G-Stunfisk, Swampert (also with sludge wave rofl) These guys are ready to go with appropriate move sets. The dust and rare candies ive got are committed to lickitung – and i have zero charge tm's. Can also add like….a Poliwrath and a Greninja in there. Ive got a 99.5 shadow granbull, ferrothorn 60 (was a mistake but hes double moved). Last team I was really trying hard with was pelipper lead, stunfisk, and vigoroth – I capped out at like 1850 and then i kept losing – this was before i had access to a medi and a licki. I want to try Medicham, Lanturn, Licki. What are your thoughts? Also, how much is it going to hurt me if i bring the XL's in before they are FULLY maxed?
What do you use if you don’t have a safe swap like Sableye or Lickitung? I’ve been doing well in the cups but every time it’s open leagues, I get blasted because I don’t have the really good safe swaps yet (relatively new and don’t have any xl Pokémon other than Medicham)

Ive only started in February so I never have the legendaries you feature, or the Elite TM Moves, or the Shadows from previous seasons (or.. years)

I'd prefer to see you put out more "try hard" teams. One thing I'm curious to see is Shadow Alolan Sandslash. It was used a bit in the World Championships. I'd be interested to see your experience with it.

I've been trying to hit legend for a while now, but I'm simply hardstuck at 2800, I'm currently running Sir'fetched, Abomasnow and Lanturn. I simply don't think this team can get me any further because there is no medicham answer.
I have an okay roster: Bastiodon, Lanturn, Walrein, Dubwool, Greninja, Abomasnow, Sir'fetched, DD, Ferrothorn, Quagsire which are mostly rank 1 ivs with a few top 10s
And some fillers with top 300 to bad ivs: Dewgong, Mantine, Skarmory, Vigoroth, Umbreon (bad iv), Whiscash (bad iv),Gstunfisk, Charizard, Cradily, Gengar, Haunter, Dunsparce, Drifblim. I also almost have Diggersby, Shadow Aslash and Medicham up.
What should I be running for that last push?

Please make a meta great league videos out of possibly Medicham, walrein, machamp, greninja, a sandlash, escadrill, azumarill, lickitung, scrafty. Basically a ftp meta team would be great

I used G Fist, Noctowl and Lanturn, I have most of the meta pokemons but Registeel, Medicham and sableye, just don’t have good IV for them, so don’t want to waste the dusts. I always lose to Registeel in the end game with this team.

And some people will say that this is just copium, but I swear it's because I cannot get my hands on a respectable steel/ground type or a poison other than Toxapex.
I've never caught a Skarmory, never had a decent IV Onix/Steelix, nor a decent GFisk or Bastiodon..
My roster gets giga wrecked by Fairy and electric, so if you could maybe make a team out of this list that patches that hole, that would be appreciated.

It's just so sad that great league is so stale now and I absolutely has no motivation playing great league it used to be the most fun.
Still hit my legend with ultra league similar to last season. But hope there will be some nerfs and buffs
Used this team and dropped 100 elo running into venusaurs and altarias… People learn to counter quickly
It’s the same for me with ho-oh…. The sacred fire hardly ever gives me the debuff but when used against me it happens 99.9 percent of the time 😭

Went up to 2973, then hit a huge wall tanking down to the 2700s. Tried out this team and went on a crazy run to hit Legend! You the best! 🙏

I really need some help. I have pretty decent mons for GBL. But every time I reach 2100 I'm walled for days and plummet back down. It's very infuriating.
