It ‘s literally a game . Niantic is playing with us. Not any different than rolling, the dice or playing the slot machine in Vegas. We can all act like there are ways around that that we can beat the system but it’s the system. It’s a game I know the younger folks the millennials think they can beat the system but I have a feeling the folks at Niantic are a little older than that and they are a lot better at playing the game.

Yes, a Master Ball would have been good for this like everyone else said.
But only 3 minutes in between raid completion and you using up all your balls? If it’s a hundo legendary I’m definitely spending at least 5-6 minutes catching it, making sure NO ball is wasted or is less than excellent. I’ve spent up to 10 minutes waiting for the opportunity to circle lock the throw too.
Truly sorry for your loss but definitely take it slower next time!

I caught my hundo rayquaza last raid before it left rotation last ball.
I had like 18 balls. Really small excellent curveballs. Golden razz. Every throw.
It was one of those that decides to instantly jump out 3/4 of the time. I was down to 3 balls and **sweating**. At that point a local pogo player started messaging me on Facebook and I was getting pop ups at the top of my screen every few seconds and the panic got even worse.
Final ball. I threw and it wasn’t an excellent. It wasn’t a great. It wasn’t even a *nice*. A drop of sweat hit my phone screen and as they do, not liking moisture, I fumbled and I’m not even sure if was a curveball. I was so ready to be furious.
It **CAUGHT**. I was buoyed in my mood for about a week.
