I was super excited for this, but torn after playing the demo. The art design is absolutely beautiful, and the combat seems like it’ll be fun, but the writing/dialogue seemed awful. I know that most JRPGs aren’t known for being masterpieces in that department, but this was… yikes.

Can’t wait for this to release, I have gone through the demo’s “main dungeon”, explored the heck out of it, played around with the different character combat combos and also going out to the “fishing areas” to do some fishing.

Was part of the Kickstarter backing for this game so I could get a physical copy, wondering if they’ll do another release of it later or it’s just going to be limited to the early backers

Since someone else in the comments mentioned it and I never played the demo, how is the dialogue compared to The Messenger?. That game had the worst, self aware Reddit tier humour.

I played the demo on Nintendo Switch, but for some reason, I could not get the timings right for block and timed attacks.
Does the demo have a tutorial where you can practice timed blocks and timed attacks?
This is the only reason why I have not yet preordered the game.
I can do timed attacks and blocks on PM:TTYD and SMRPG just fine.
