    >Sea of Stars is available now on Nintendo Switch.

    >Embark on a journey of peril and wonder as you discover the stories of two Children of the Solstice! Combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.

I fell in love with this game just playing the demo. Cash is short right now for me, and this will have to be a must buy when I can properly afford it.

If I had ANY complaints with this game, it would be one so far. I think a bit would agree as well. I kinda wish the portrait art for characters was better. I know art is subjective, and by no means am I saying it’s horrible either.

With it being a love letter basically to Chrono Trigger, [you’d think they would go just as hard as they did for their portraits](https://i.imgur.com/85ol6Sn.jpg). Of course, this seems like an unfair comparison as that’s a renowned Japanese artist. Also, don’t get me wrong either. I have a feeling I should state this too just in case, I don’t think it ruins the game either.

Either way, this game seems like it’s going to be phenomenal, and I feel in love with it playing the demo. One of the things I’m most excited for, is to hear Yasunori Mitsuda’s songs!!! Knowing how he likes to write his music, I’m not sure if I should wait to hear them in game, or not.

Too many conundrums, so little money (lol)!

maybe not the best launch trailer but it seems a great game

Tomorrow I will play it on Switch

Turn-based is not really my cup of tea (please don’t hit me) but I’ll happily give it a try with this game seeing how beautiful and full of content it is. Hope a physical edition will reach EU someday.

Wondering how this plays on Switch. Octopath had 60 fps on Steam (30 fps on Switch) which felt really nice.

Are the creators of Stardew valley the same ? Feels very similar to it.

I’m about 5 hours in so far… I’ll admit I’m not crazy about the slow ass combat (yes it’s traditional RPG but at least give me a speed up option). Other than that the traversal in the areas is very clever so far. We’ll see if it holds up.

Pixel art is gorgeous, there’s no question about that.

  9. I’m playing the demo on switch. Love it. Didn’t realize it was on game pass haha. Oh well. Maybe I’ll just buy it on switch anyways. It’s a nice lay in bed to play type of game.

  10. Mild-Ghost

Played about an hour last night on Gamepass. Pretty fun!

For anyone interested in such things, the Console/Steam achievements are located in game through a Book.

I don’t even know what the game is about I just remember finding out about the fact it exists after looking up “Sea of Stars” on google to see if anything had that name before
