I have heard Y is better overall X but X is the best looking one. I believe Y is the best fire attacker in the game.

I mega evolved my new one to X even though my old one was predominantly Y, just because if you evolve it once to X, it’ll show up as a “memory” behind your mon and looks cool next time you evolve to Y.
