I would suggest using it on a Pokemon you want to add to your team but is hard to catch, like a Fearow or a Tentacruel.
I used mine on a one star galarian articuno and i have no ragrets
Catch a Weedle with it
Imo its a guaranteed catch so it shuld be used on something really special. Like reallllly special and hard to get. Like a pikachu id say. That guy alw runs away from me 🙁

ONLY hundo legendaries which are GOOD on the LAST ball.
There are a lot of people giving troll answers. The best two uses are:
-High CP Galatian bird. Can’t know it’s “stars” well but a high CP at least makes it somewhat usable without investing candy.
-100% legendary that you haven’t caught on your last ball.

IMHO, there isn’t anything worth using it on yet.
Most seem to have used it on the Galarian birds, which is somewhat fair because they have such a low catch rate. But I’m in it to fill out my Pokédex, and already have those birds in their Kanto form, so don’t really care. So I’ll just sit on it until Niantic releases something new AND hard to catch.

On a Hundo Galarian bird off daily incense. You can know the Max CP of each in the wild by googling.
Galarian Articuno: 3,077 (3,334 weather boosted)
Galarian Moltres: 2,715 (2,941 weather boosted)
Galarian Zapdos: 3,042 (3,295 weather boosted)
Galarian Artucuno, Zapdos or Moltres from Daily Incense.
Never, just always keep it there just in case, and end up catching everything in an ultra ball anyways. As is tradition.
I am new to this game so what does a master ball do, from these comments I am assuming is has a 100% catch rate but idk
Galar bird trio is good but I also say if you find one of the lake trio in the wild.
If you’re anything like me, never. You might need it later.

As a casual player, I’m probably going to treat it like megaelixirs in final fantasy. Never use it “just in case” lol
