Finally, a video announcing a previously released video announcement.
What “special” message?
I thought they were announcing a demo or something, wtf is this?
“Hello everyone, a couple days ago we released this video about the new Mario game.Goodbye”
I wonder if they didn’t get the online engagement that they were expecting and felt the need to post this
Spiderman and this are my most anticipated games coming towards the end of this year. I can’t wait to play both.
‘drink more ovaltine’
Surprising lack of special messages in this video with a special message for us all. You’d really expect more than… zero special messages.
It sure was a message.
Hi there; we’re assuming you watched the direct; we don’t have anything to add, but we wanted to let you know we’re the producer and the director. Buy more Nintendo games!
Nintendo keeps freaking me out with these vague special messages. I thought the game was going to be delayed.
No doubt in my mind Nintendo has become more corporate with how arranged and unenthusiastic these two appear reading the teleprompter and half-timing their synchronized closing statement.
I’m not knocking either of them. I just get the impression that Nintendo marketing folks are pivoting the environment for this kind of communication in a way that doesn’t instill the developers with passion.
LOL classic Nintendo
It’s been a while since I’ve been this interested in a Mario game.
There was no need to slit that puppy’s throat like that at the end. I had already preordered the game.
Glad I’ve read the comments before watching the video. Now I know I don’t need to watch it. Thanks guys.
I was hoping for a Demo. I’m sad
Awesome 🙂
“Hello, we are sorry, but unforeseen circumstances have forced us to delay the game until a release window can be announced. Thank you for your patience. Goodbye.”
Edit: Multiple grammar edits and a punch up
Classic Nintendo, always a few steps behind what is actually going on today.
There’s something weirdly wholesome about average middle-aged Japanese businessmen awkwardly staring into a camera while they politely ask you to enjoy something.
“A couple days ago, we released a video showing these new features for the game”
Alright, cool. What about it?
“No, that’s it.”
Wait why does this have so many upvotes?
Uh yeah okay
uhm…
“we have come to inform you that. thanks for watching”
what are the chances of a demo coming out before launch ?
They didn’t do this on their Japanese account nor on their US account.
People in Europe must like these videos 😎
Well, that was pointless.
If they wanted their faces to be seen, why not guest host the direct?
Nintendo doing Nintendo things.
And in the same time I think they had way more fun developing the new title that many other developers. Somehow I would easily buy them that they are totally happy with their title and proud of the work of the team.
