I just purchased the 5 dollar ticket and it says that the stuff has to be done and claimed by the 15th but I haven’t received the timed research or the backpack or any of the perk things like the stardust and such. It definitely took my money and blurred out the purchase option on the game so ?? Anybody have any advice on that ?? Never happened to me before

I have a theory that you get better ivs and increased shiny odds when purchasing the tickets. The last handful of smaller events I’ve purchased I’ve gotten some good mons, and when I get on here there’s lots of posts complaining about the lack of that stuff

Niantic thinks people are dumb as fuck. They are the dumb ones though. Literally everything on there is worth nothing. Even the xp you can get in two excellent catches or 15 great catches. All the other stuff you can get easily and after the event the Pawmi backpack will be available and by time it’s available you could easily earn the coins for it with gyms. Popular YouTubers were even telling people not to waste the money.
I don’t know why people still give Niantic money?
Pokemon Go is big so even if only a small percent of players buy the cosmetic, it’s at least cash coming in for Niantic. And it’s better (for the company, not the players) than not making money.
I won’t buy but it’s better to have stupid cosmetics for whales than lock Pokemon behind paywalls like they’ve done in the past.

The cosmetic bag will literally go in the shop within a month or 2. Sure, it will cost about 400 coins, but you can technically get it for free.
