My wife caught the moltres that way and didn’t even know it was rare or anything. She popped the daily incense sitting at her desk, it was the very first one that spawned (She wasn’t going to walk, she thought the incese worked like it did back during covid). She caught it and thought nothing of it til she asked me to go through and “clean out” her pokemon. I was like, excuse me, but what is THIS?
I have a theory that 3 star pokemon USUALLY are always the lowest CP ones you catch.
At least that’s the case for me, I can catch multiple of the same pokemon, apprise them all and the lowest CP is most likely the one to have the highest stats
Ppl moaning about the CP, but for me it’s the stats I’m interested in. Dust you can earn, but stats always stay the same and can make a Pokémon insta trash

I’ve caught all but galarian articuno that one has fled on me at least a dozen times. Catch rates are insane for the birds
so confused by this “birds are impossible” thing i can usually catch them it just takes a while 😭

It’s still not “good” really. I mean it’s a cool catch. But at best it’s a somewhat off meta spice pick in battles and not great for raids. I guess it depends on what you mean by good.
