… Seeing your post has just made me realize that the logo/symbol for the mon in the gym follows the colour of your Team. I’m Mystic so my logo has always been blue.

You can also see it under your player profile. The gyms you have defenders at will be indicated by a special mark.

Wish there was a place with all the useful searches. Or maybe there is and I just don’t know about it. Two of my favorites are……
“Age0” – great for sorting the pokemon you caught in the last 24 hours.
“interactable” – on the friends list. Filters to only the friends you haven’t yet interacted with that day.
I just go to the gym badge and sort by “defending”

… You can see them if your scroll down in the “today” section of the field research, along with if you already have already made your 50 daily coins
Another trick, go to your gyms on your profile, you can sort by defending, same results different placement and no typing.
