Lucky skill: Healthy Healing
Someone pointed out in the last video with the max investment rival solos that I technically didn’t include “all regions” since there wasn’t a Pasio rep. Well, here you go hahaha.
Quite precise. You need the second TM MPR since that’s the only way you’ll get to sync quickly enough in Bar 3. Healthy Healing was used as Paulo needs as much HP as he can get – I’m not sure if running CS2 would work but I opted to go for more bulk. Waiting for Latios to attack before bar changes is extremely important as you need all the time you can get to spam your moves and rush to sync.
Some other things to keep in mind are to save Willful Howl until after Icy Wind so that you get to max speed and to sync after Latios’s second Draco Meteor for the Sp Atk debuffs. Waiting to fish for those debuffs on Bar 1 second half runs you the risk of Latios just using Telekinesis twice instead.
And, of course, don’t get any nat crits, flinch procs, or para procs. Those are the actual last evils.

I know this is likely just some dumb wishful thinking, but now that we have Lear, Rachel, Sawyer, Tina and Paulo as playable (and maybe Professor Bellis if they ever do her), they can likely do Pasio as a "region" now. Even though they'd have to update the MC with all those theme skills too for all eggmons, which I don't think they'd go through the hassle for
Really clutched it with Lycanroc barely hanging on for all 3 bars! The whole exchange reminded me a lot of Paulo's Interlude when he experimented in battle after Rockruff took a lot of damage by risking it all on a counterattack against Tina's Flareon, which ended up taking it out and giving Paulo the win but also made Rockruff faint right after. Paulo was amazed and felt convinced that adopting the mindset of the more cold and calculative villains he encountered that caused him to push Rockruff yielded results, only for it to backfire on him when Rockruff was too tired to fight off some Team Rocket grunts who were trying to steal their Pokémon. Towards the end of the chapter, Rockruff refused to go down to Ghetsis' Kyurem even after taking multiple attacks and kept charging at it, and that ferocity is also displayed here with Lycanroc fighting back viciously against Latios in a 1v3.
The double tm MPR was prob the most impressive string of luck I've seen in a while. And also w/o any of his heavy multipliers, lol. Really want at least one from a daily, that's all.
