I think about all the crazy, amazing things they could do in terms of track design with modern hardware, and it makes me so sad that F-ZERO has been abandoned.
GX was an awesome game and at the very least I was hoping for some kind of remaster of that.

Any interest in Fzero by Nintendo is good interest. This is cool as a retro game turned into a battle Royale. Imma play it to show support for the series and try it out. Here’s hoping this is a Federation Force leads to better things.

How do you guys feel about it? I kinda had fun the first couple races, you definitely gotta pay attention to what your boost is at and conserve or you’re screwed in the long run.

5 years ago I said I would pee my pants if nintendo anounces a new F-Zero. My friends have got my message saved. I defended myself when F-zero X released in NSO, as it isn’t a new one. This one is and imagine my disappointment.

This looks like some mild fun, but man, F-Zero fans got absolutely trolled with this.

After playing for about half an hour, it’s… OK. I could see pulling it out for a few minutes here and there, but it’s so chaotic I didn’t find it all that fun. And the way powerups and challenges are balanced, it’s doing the Mario Kart Wii thing where it wants frontrunners to be punished and for people in the rear to pull last-minute comebacks. Which is only exciting until you notice how artificial it is.
Spending 90% of the race being pinballed in the middle of the pack, only to use a superboost at the end while praying for some good luck, doesn’t feel particularly compelling for long-term play.
