Any time I primal evolve my Kyogre his hp dips under max and I can feed him as many potions as I want but it wont change. Any tips?

    It’s a bug that’s been in the game for a few months. The game doesn’t know how to handle situations where mega evolution changes the base HP of a pokemon.

    Have you seen how big a primal Kyogre is? Those tiny potions are like throwing Aspirin tablets at a blue whale. Load up a submarine with potions and drive it into your Kyogre’s mouth. That should take care of that missing 2HP

    Don’t continue to use potions, I’ve already reported the bug myself to niantic. It happens with both primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, but not outside their primal forms. They’ll show they’re 1hp from full but will continue to eat every potion you throw at them without recovering. If they’re 1hp to full, just stop. Niantic did not reimburse any of my potions or compensate for the issue and I reported it two weeks ago.

    I have the same with my Primal Groudon. Not with any other mega or Primal though.

    Same here. I wasted a ton of stuff trying to get his health up and it wouldn’t work.

    It’s because of the 3% instead of 9% nerf (usual for legendaries + pseudos above 4000 CP at max level) that Primals+Mega Ray gets in PoGo.

    Garchomp was lucky to just sneak by at 3962 CP.

    The newest pseudo legendary in the game Baxcalibur sadly doesn’t and will have to face 9% nerf.

    Pro tip. Don’t feed it potions until its no longer primal evolved

    I had this with my Rayquaza, after it stopped being a MEGA I was able to give it a potion and he was all okay again, so I think it’s just a ranfom glitch… and if your item storage is too full and you wanna get rif of potions, then it’s a fun way to do so lol

    It happens with my Mega Rayquaza too. Kind of annoying.

    Don’t waste your potions. Happens with Groudon as well
