I really want it to be a good remaster(or whatever it is called). I played it on game boy color, but I never finished it, so I’m looking forward to playing it!

With how long this is taking with multiple HD-2DS games and Dragon Quest games having been announced and release since. I wonder if they decided to remake the whole NES trilogy rather then just doing a remake of 3. That kind of scope increase is the only reason why I see it taking so long.

Was wondering why Square Enix has never mentioned it for the last few years. I never thought it would take this long to remake an old NES game. But I’m looking forward to it when it eventually does come out.

I completely forgot about this so long ago that I played through the GBC version last year.
I mean, I’ll still play the HD-2D version, but I probably would have held off playing the older version had I remembered.

Do they actually confirm it’s coming to Switch – I believe the original announcement was in a Square-Enix E3 presentation, where they never mentioned the platform. We all assume Switch (because of other HD-2D games).

Feels like this game was announced forever ago. I’ll admit, I’m gonna be a little underwhelmed if it’s just a 1-1 remake of the original. Hopefully the story and party member customization is fleshed out more.
