Reminds me of a stop here that’s a playground in military housing called “Ko’u Haole Keiki” which is very insulting if you understand the Hawaiian language. It’s saying that the “haole” (meaning “no breath” in Hawaiian which is used an insulting term for visitors from the mainland sometimes).
So what they’re saying is the playground is for haole kids who will never be apart of the local community, haole will always be their identity. “Ko’u” meaning something you own that you cannot choose to own such as your hand and your name.
So it’s crazy what the descriptions are for playgrounds sometimes. You don’t even notice if you don’t read it. Maybe they don’t read it either .

Apart from the text, imagine rolling up in your car, opening your driver side window and start scanning the playground for a Field Research task whilst 10+ children are playing and their parents all slowly start looking in your direction going from “…?” to “…!!!!”.
The local high school 300m away from me is converted to refugee center for Ukranian refugees and there are 2 gyms and 3 stops connected to it. I so often get a “scan this stop” field task and I’m like “Nah…think not”.

I feel like there’s a lot of stops near me that just… aren’t right. I saw a gym on the map with a raid I wanted so I drove out to it and it was some persons house. Like a normal house in a neighborhood. It honestly creeped me out and I just drove away. There’s other stops that just say “(Username’s) Pokestop” with no description. They’ve been popping up more recently
