Wow this looks awful. It’s funny because IMO a Last Airbender open world game would be amazing. Have it set 500 years in the past and make it an RPG where you’re the avatar and you get to select what tribe you’re from (which determines your companion animal and what upgrades you’ll get). I feel like this would be an incredible game.

If you want a good Avatar game, there really arent many, but the self titled 2006 game was solid. Was not open world, instead being self contained maps you cant return to, but they were big varied and you could freely explore them. Omashu in particular was huge, and you could do a ton of stuff there. It had minigames, it had an interesting enough story, and some light RPG customization. I still have my old gamecube copy!

Edit: forgot the Korra game existed. That one was… ok I guess. Very repetitive but at least it wasn’t an obvious cashgrab 🙂 the last airbender however is still plagued with this stuff.

TLA is cursed to never get a good video game for some reason. Just give it to any AAA studio. It’s such a cash cow waiting to happen. You could do open world, battle royale, fighting game, rpg, even a sports game. Hell, a card game. It’s so easy

I love Avatar but this doesn’t look good. And I wouldn’t have issues with the graphics itself if the gameplay was good but the gameplay also looks really clunky.

One day we’ll get a great Last Airbender game… it doesn’t even need to necessarily be AAA you can make a great game on a small budget without it looking like a PS2 era licensed game.
