Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
Pokemon GO has just announced the Adventures Abound season featuring the pokemon found in the Paldea Region. This season of GO Battle League features a significant move updates includes nerfs, buffs, and new moves. In total it came with over 150 move updates.
With all these move updates, this video will focus on pokemon that received a significant buff for this upcoming season of GO Battle League either through moves specifically being buffed or access to new moves.
This week it is psychic cup and great league. Psychic Cup is a 1500cp (Great League) that only allows psychic pokemon. Great League is a 1500cp cup with no restrictions.
It’s Grubbin Community Day. It’s a meh community day but charjabug will have some play in open great league and super strong in limited cups.

Charjabug did great for me last year in the evoltion cup. It destroyed S. Golbat and held it's own against vig. That was before the move update. I'll probably just etm my rank 2.
Probably build a Vikavolt for ultra league too… its not amazing there overall but it does beat a lot of stuff that gets generally safe swapped in like cress, jelli, virizion, walreain, goon and golisopod so it does have some play in the back

I did quite well with Charjabug in the summer cup. Crustle lead, Charjabug pivot, Dartrix in the back. It worked well as a pivot because people wouldn't want to swap out their swampert or quagsire against the Charjabug, but then you could bring in Dartrix and farm them down with Leafage afterward.
I’m excited for the new Shiny Grubbin family. They all have great shinies.
