If there was awards for how generic you can make a game title…
ShiftyShaymin
I thought this came out years ago, but that was The Alliance Alive, right?
Z3M0G
What game/platform was this originally?
100clowns
I liked this game but I never beat it. I ironically played the same main character they chose for the trailer(the white haired girl whose name I forget). Maybe I’ll choose a different character this time around or maybe I’ll beat it as her who knows.
Beenz64
That’s cool, but what about The Legacy of Legend?
XPacEnergyDrink
The sequel to The Lore of Story
bibbleskit
I actually loved this game. Interested in QoL changes in the remaster!
PeerlessAutumnTree
I remember playing it when it first came out on the 3DS. The way how they presented the story was interesting, piecing the story togeather from the artifacts/scriptures you find as you playthrough the game.

God I hate this game so much. Bland everything and felt like a slog to finish. One of the only few I hated on the 3ds.
Although, I’ve heard good things about Alliance Alive so I’ll give that a try some day.

The only thing worse than remastering some generic fantasy game no one has heard about is remastering the chibi graphics. It ages worse than ugly PS1 polygons and should have been left to die on the 3DS.
National_Locksmith34
This game made me sleep everytime I tried to play it. Definitely one of the worst Rpg’s on the 3ds.
Xelrathi
I remember trying this game after beating Alliance Alive and I quit on the first island I think. I didn’t understand the elemental fighting and getting members to level up/learn moves was a grind. I’d skip this and play Alliance Alive(bought the switch version too) if anyone is on the fence of trying it.

I almost dusted off my old 3ds to play this one. Glad i didn’t, i’ll pick this one up for sure
Hippobu2
Holy cow, I remember this game. It was brutal, every battle feels like getting punched repeatedly in the teeth.
Pierah
Oh, this one is unexpected. I’m actually happy they’re bringing this over now that the 3DS eshop is dead, I enjoyed my time with it back in the day. (thought that might not be a popular opinion)
If anyone is curious, this is the predecessor of Alliance Alive, another Furyu JRPG with the same artist (Ryo Hirao) and music composer (Hamauzu). They’re “SaGa” inspired games. Very basic and old school in feel, gameplay wise at least. This one is very rough and obtuse, they improved a bunch of stuff in Alliance Alive in response to this game’s feedback.
Calling the story minimal would be an understatement, but it’s presented in an interesting way, with poem verses that you have to find scattered around the world to piece together the lore/mystery of the island you’re exploring. The game was also pretty hard, which was something I found refreshing.
After Alliance Alive, I’d love to see them give this style of game another try one day.
