The problem with 1 that high CP is you’re probably never going to actually use it. It’s not good for raiding/gyms, and it’s only good for select cups

My personal philosophy is that I refuse to masterball a galarian bird with a pathetic CP level. I’d need it to be no lower than 28/2900. I had an encounter with a zapdos earlier too but it was 939 and didn’t even consider using my masterball. Chucked my ultra ball and let it run. So I’d absolutely consider yours a win!

I was a bit drunk at the local bar that’s an active stop. I ran out of all other balls and accidentally used mine on a slowpoke… sooo… way better than what I used mine on.

More like only choice. The galarian birds are the only Pokemon that have an abysmal catch rate. The rest of the mons can be caught by Golden Razzies. Might as well use your master ball

Edit: Everyone saying yes isn’t being honest. Either they also similarly wasted theirs and are trying to justify it through projection onto you, or are trying to make you feel better. Good use of master ball would be a perfect IV legendary (one that isn’t trash) or on your favorite ‘mon that you’re down to your last ball attempting to catch.

Yeah. A poor choice though was to use a golden razz berry. If you were using the master ball it’d have been smarter to use a pinap berry instead.
