Since it’s powered by the USB-C, I’d be interested in a battery life with joycons attached vs battery life with Nitro Deck. I only expect it to be a few percentages, but I’m curious.
whipsmartbanky
Okay, that’s cool as heck.
gleepglopz
What is it, and why is it better than just using the Joycon sticks?
Professional_Try2289
If you connect the original charger, does it think it’s the original charger connecter or due to the Nitro Deck acting as a bridge won’t do?
DaShaka9
At first I thought this was a poor render of a generic console playing Metroid. Looks cool though I’ll have to look into this device.
Agent8ButtLover
I would pay good money for one with the actual GameCube configuration
gra33zy
Thinking of getting one as well, looks comfy. Only concern is from the videos I’ve watched it looks a bit awkward to remove the switch.
Terrible--T
hey same here! same color and got mine yesterday too
kiwii4k
that looks like playskool garbage
CoreyC1313
So psyched for mine to get here….looks awesome!
Retroid_BiPoCket
These things look very nostalgic but not being able to dock them is a real dealbreaker for me.
tailskirby
That is pretty.
zzz099
How heavy is it?
andaroobaroo
How hard/annoying/ fiddly is it to take the switch in and out of it? Like if you want to dock it, for example?
snowlovesnow
I got mine yesterday, same one, love it.

Feedback?

It not being able to connect to the switch dock while attached to the switch seems like an enormous design flaw to me.
astroklotz
As someone who almost never puts their Switch on the dock I’m very interested in this. I’ve been using a Satisfye ZenGrip Pro on my SWOLED for the past couple years, it’s a great ergonomic grip, but I really like the aesthetics of this thing.
Does it feel good in-hand? Hard to tell from pictures whether or not it has that “cheap” plastic feel and weight. Also not sure how I feel spending 60-$80 on a new peripheral with the Switch 2.0 so close on the horizon when I already have a grip that I really like. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
eMF_DOOM
Got mine today too. Really enjoying it. Wish the right thumbstick and d-pad were a tad higher but that’s probably my only complaint so far. Great product.
The-Jesus_Christ
Does it not have USB-C Passthrough?
This would be something I’d want permanently attached so it just seems like a massive design flaw to not include it
damafan
can we charge the switch without removing the nitro deck?
cbudd1117
Ordered mine today.
MarthePryde
I want one of these things but shipping to Canada costs me 50 extra bucks wtf.
Edit: literally costs me more than half the cost of the product to ship to Canada. Maybe I can justify it when the Switch 2 is out and I’m already spending a bunch
baroquedad
Real miss to not make a the see through grape case of these imo
C_StickSpam
Got mine today too, I love it so much.
CarrotsNotCake
Am I in the minority with disliking how companies are cashing in on GameCube nostalgia without providing good GameCube replicas?
xylotism
Is this an OLED switch? The colors and contrast look amazing.
Kevdel03
Are the triggers loud? I saw a vid about the nitro deck and the only complaint the guy had was that the triggers were too loud
KingPatrick24
How long did it take to arrive from when you ordered it?
BerryTea840
This looks like the GameCube and the Switch had a baby
Federal_Musician_746
It says in the description “use as an extra controller” does that mean you can use it separately from the switch like say if you have the switch docked can you use the nitro deck as a controller? If not then what does that mean exactly?
terrencejack
Lucky wish mine would ship
JayPee3010
Got to try it at Gamescom and didn’t expect how much Id enjoy it. Especially the programmable back buttons blew me away.
bonchooski
I’ll stick to my Hori Split Compact, having the right analog stick offset from the face buttons is more comfortable than having it directly below.
Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff
I ordered the neon blue version but knowing LRG it’ll probably not be coming out for at least another 4-6 months. I wish they sold that version on the normal store cause I love the neon colors.

What does this thing even do?
Is it too heavy now?
