Strange time for this kind of offer.

As always, they are activating such deal just after the auto renewal for those who are paying for NSO since day one kicks in, and those won’t get the extra points…

Even Blizzard gives out the “free mount for 6 month subscription” mounts to those who are already subscribed for 6 months…

  3. SoloWaltz

    So that’s 40, about 4000 cents, take 10 divide by 5…

I dont think this is how math works.

    Anyhow that’s 800 points. I would rather take a 20% discount.

i guess my recent automatic renewal of the membership doesn’t count ? (16 september)

  5. Richard_Jae

Important to note that the points will be given out within a month of renewing, not right away.

  6. ChaoticChatot

My sub has lapsed for the past 2 months so this might be just enough to entice me, I hope they add a few more GBA games.

  7. I have my subscription at auto renewal with Oct. 24th as the date. If i manually renew ist now, will I get the Gold Points?

  8. StretchKind8509

My favourite offer that they did on NSO was in January this year when they gave you double Gold when you bought NSO vouchers, I hope there is something similar next year.

  9. minnerlo

Is there any way to purchase it early? My renewal is like two weeks later

  10. dudSpudson

Then we find out that the switch 2 has its own online service that isn’t compatible with this switch online

Only worth it if you really want NSO. 12 month subscription is $20, and 20% off a $60 game would only save you $12. So you essentially end up paying $8 for a year-long NSO subscription.

  12. I’m assuming this person is European and it’s actually October 8th?

  13. Does upgrading to the expansion pack count? And is this just UK or also US?

  14. WhispyWhirl

I literally just renewed my subscription a few weeks ago, and even got the expansion pack at that time. This is just insulting. Will I at least get the points retroactively?

But it says August 10th even though August just passed, does this go into next year?

  15. Full_Metal18

Guess who just renewed their subscription like a week ago, lol

  16. PanicResponsible2945

I don’t renew till April or next year so. Not like I’ll renew anyways.

  17. hellschatt

Hmm, I guess no reason not to do it if you were using NSO anyways.

  18. atwistedwarmembrace

Nice one! Mine was due for renewal after this date in mid October, but I went the route of buying a single membership 12 month code on cdkeys for £13.50 and redeeming that now. Looks like it should work from the T&Cs and net me £3.60 in gold points. Will have to wait and see whether it works.

Either way I saved money by buying through cdkeys rather than my usual lazy auto-renewal so I’m still winning!

  19. davidhorton

I don’t renew until a few days after black Friday. I’m gonna wait, sometimes there are better deals for NSO, or gift card sales (basically the same thing).

  20. spadePerfect

Huh. I wanted to buy NSO again anyways, might as well go for it.

  21. Great, my yearly membership renews mid december.

  22. Brandeaux7

Thank you for these crumbs nintendo 🥵

  23. BeardenOfLife

Oddly enough I just extended mine and didn’t receive any gold points whatsoever. I am based in The Netherlands.

  24. You can keep your shitty excuse of an online subscription thank you very much

  25. Bonesawisready5

Any word on if this offer will be in the us too

  26. That’s from Nintendo UK.
do you know if the rest of the world get same offer

  27. Gaemfreak

Great deal if you want the most useless paid subscription around.
