I did it lads. Although I actually succeeded the first time, the clear was a lot more RNG centric because of the lack of good gear and I actually forgot to record that. This is a lot easier version due to getting extra grid stats that *really* help the clear’s consistency, but it’s not too necessary so long as the right stuff happens. This clear remains RNG reliant on the exact moments explained below but is alleviated with some gear, noting that I always reliably get to the third bar now as opposed to struggling with the second bar prior to the new gear.

Important tips:
-ALWAYS let Latios Draco Meteor you first turn. The negative Special Attack is important to survive Surf twice on the second and third bars; do not flinch it or miss it, as it’s also important that Draco Meteor gauge is eaten. If you take two Draco Meteors, it’s good too, because it means the second bar takes longer time to Surf and you can usually deny the first bar.
-Try to make sure that Latios doesn’t hit Rose on the second bar after it reaches half health unless it is Zen Headbutt; Rose will never survive a crit Earthquake into Surf on the third bar.
-DO NOT flinch the Surf. Flinching the Surf means Latios will queue Double Edge and you WILL die if you take it, so make sure you take Surf THEN aim for the flinch so that the sync kill.
-Make sure that Rose has 3 more CD by the time the Steel Field runs out and is queueing a freebie on the third bar: this guarantees that Rose will be able to queue three in succession without delays.

If you’re taking gear, prioritize durability over Attack; this means you can survive Surf more reliably or Earthquake crit if it comes to it, noting that my Rose has +13O bonus health with +3O special Defense, though it doesn’t matter too much as you can see by my remaining health. Ideally get +70 HP and +2O Defenses similar to normal 3* gear and you should be fine.

Some randomizations help the clear:
GMax Steelsurge not critting Dragonite but critting Salamence is ideal, but not mandatory. The trick is to help reduce the fainting animation by letting them both die on the same Iron Head.
Flinching on the second bar is ideal, but not necessary provided Rose does not use Earthquake. The more flinches you get the better, as it means there’s less queue for your Steel Damage Field to run out.
