Fate/Samurai Remnant for Nintendo Switch

Games out and actually quite good for switch, with some performance issues but hopes are high they will fix some of it. If you are fan of the series dont miss out on this.

Was about to get it then I saw a $40 season pass. Screw this company.

Playing on Steam Deck has been somewhat rough. Cutscenes are the worst, with some dialogue repeating or subtitles showing late. I’ve had a few frame drops and stutters in combat but nothing to screw me over yet. It needs to be patched for performance because it can’t stay locked at 60fps. Goes from 18-50 which can be frustrating.
The game is still fun though, and I’m enjoying it so far. Kind of reminds me of LAD: Ishin with the enivironments and random encounters.

Nice, thanks for the heads up! I’m a little unsure about the DLC, but the base game at least I’ll get for sure. Loved the other Fate warriors games and this one looked very interesting.

  4. Man now I remembered that I actually bought both Fate/Extella 1 & 2 when they were on sale a few years ago, but I only ever got around to finish 1 (The Umbral Star)…

Gotta play 2 (Link) when I finish my other current games…

It reminded me of way of the samurai at first… but it definitely isn’t like that. Oh well

Glad to hear it’s not too terrible on the Switch. Was debating buying this for the Switch or PS5, and ultimately went with the Switch since I wanted to play this on the go/handheld.

Is it the same graphics for all consoles?

PSA: This game does not run well on switch at all, I would suggest against buying. Game does not hit 30 FPS consistently, dips to half of whatever you’re getting if you need to rotate the camera for any reason, which you will. Hopefully it gets patched, but this game is not in a playable state.

I’m almost confident in saying it runs worse than Pokemon SV.

Probably going to pick it up for Switch since I want the on-the-go. Any thoughts about Deluxe vs. just the game?
