This channel is where you come if you want ideas for:
Great League Teams
Ultra League Teams
Master League Teams

Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.

Pokemon GO has just announced the Adventures Abound season featuring the pokemon found in the Paldea Region. This season of GO Battle League features a significant move updates includes nerfs, buffs, and new moves. In total it came with over 150 move updates.

With all these move updates, this video will focus on pokemon that received a significant buff for this upcoming season of GO Battle League either through moves specifically being buffed or access to new moves.

This week it is ultra league and sunshine cup. Ultra League is a 2500CP league with XL and Legendary Pokemon. Sunshine Cup is a Great League with only normal, grass, fire, and ground pokemon.

Everyone is using flyers which means everyone is using Steelix which means kanto ninetales has a ton of play.

  1. I’m having decent luck with Kanto nine/whiscash and Abomosnow. Granted only rank 20 but went 9 in a row last night.

  2. Would anyone believe me if I said that I lost my 2 1st games of the cup becouse I forgot to power up my Steelix! Man I was just holding my head at the second lost looking at my CP295 Steelix asking my self what the heck is wrong here! Lol I need to sleep more! Lol

  3. I need more mon updates to keep me interested. The few changes they do implement every 3 months is not enough imo. I played the past two seasons after not having played in 5+ years, but already at a point where I havent bothered to open the game in weeks

  4. thoughts on magcargo in sunshine cup? beats flyers and grass, seems like a decent anti-meta pick just protect it from counter users and hydro cannon

  5. I'm running a gourgheist with razor leaf precisely for that kind of backlines lol (but really because almost every match you can get a vigoroth switch locked with it and it's a 100-0 free farm with a shadow ball ready to go). But ninetales lead sounds absolutely troublesome.

  6. I’m running Steelix – Vig – alohan Marowak , it’s been working great. I’m only at the low 2k Elo but it’s been great against all the pigeot/vig teams

  7. This is exactly the team I was running yesterday (with normal swampert tho) it got me from 2200s to 2550. SK9 is indeed sneaky strong.. well when ppl aren't prepared for it

  8. Could you use cressellia in ultra league? I recently building it and team up with few pokemons, but not doing really well. I don’t have Tapu, so I pair cressellia with greening and chariizard.

  9. Honestly I’ve never done Sunshine cup but I’ve been doing great pushing veteran again with Miltank,Dubwool,Gligar

  10. Do you think a Pidgeot – Vig – Ninetales team would work? Also is Ember necessary on Ninetales?

  11. Bro you gotta mark your moves as elite tm.. like ember for instance needs a asterisk by it so we know without having to look it up l0l. Nice video bud.

  12. What about Giratina? If I face a Giratina with this team? I suppose only swampert has some play against it

  13. Team rocket takeover cant come soon enough, i have so many useless shadow mons right now

  14. With the game being at best painfully unfair and at worst (and in fact undeniably) rigged, the impossible scoring system just makes it downright abusive. Niantic keeps praising itself for the ranks being stable, but it’s as if they do not understand that the score needed to climb those ranks are not. The score goes down for bad sets, which is what will happen 50% of the time for any given player since good or bad sets have the same probability. Considering that players are human and get tilted, or sometimes have some trouble forming teams that can match up to the mostly unfair and/or abusive meta, all in addition to GBL being already unfair and unstable for a myriad other reasons like lag, inexplicable “weak” connection, third shields, and all other stupidity, it becomes clear that Niantic only wants to keep the greater majority of players suffering and spending their time, money, and efforts for nothing.

I know that wasting my time typing all of these words may seem pitiful, and it definitely must be hilarious that I care so much, but all I want to do is reach Legend rank just once. I’ve already dedicated so much of my time, money, and effort on that one goal, and I have tried so many times, but Niantic just does not want to make it happen for me or for so many other players like me. I keep asking them what it would truly take for me to be favored by them and to reach Legend just once, be it amassing a number of subscribers on youtube, organizing events in real life, spending particular amount of money, or wasting a specific amount of time on the game or whatever, but they won’t admit to it. They say that ranking and matching are based on performance and skill, so does that mean I am among the very best because it seems that I keep encountering such amazing players? How can they monitor my “skills” and “performance” if they say that there is no manipulation?

I am done. After more than three years of dedicated, expensive playing, I am going to remove this game and property from my life. GBL has made me hate Pokemon so much that I will only look at it now with disgust, even when I look back at any fond memories from childhood. I am done with the abuse. Niantic derives success from the pain of the very people they are supposed to please.

I am only going to finish this season because there is one player in my country who has grown to depend on my advice about GBL. I know that I may seem to be worst person to be giving advice because according to my history, I am not good at this, but I do think that I am helpful to this player and I will just finish this season before I reveal my decision to end it all. But when I do, I will remove every connection it may have to me and my life. After sticking it out through so much abuse, Niantic has now truly defeated me.

  15. Saw so many pigot teams so I started running steelix got me like 100 elo then I hit all the other steelix teams so I’m ganna try this team out to counter the counter meta

  16. Would love to see Cradilily get some love in a Sunshine cup vid

Cradilily works surprisingly well in the open GL, but in this cup, it's actually been doing work.
Rock slide 1 shots talon flame, and 2 hits most other flyers.
I can't remember exactly off top my head, but I think between the bullet seeds and 2 grass knots, you also take out Gligar.
Counter does a lot less than you would expect, and you resist the body slams from Vig/Dub

I've also been using Stunfisk with moderate success, but it's very hit or miss.

  17. Shadow Aslash is my favourite Pokémon at the moment soo if you’re thinking about investing in one for UL that would be something I’m sure a lot of us would love to see, or perhaps a team building video around it. Because typically it lands well with gira A but with all the steelix around I’ve not been enjoying gira as much this season.
