Would 100% recommend. It’s great if you want to play 10 hours. It’s great if you want to play 25 hours. It’s great if you want to play 100 hours.

Truly cannot recommend this game enough. One of those games you can pick up any time and it will never get old.

This game is perfect. And thats coming from someone who hates roguelites/roguelikes/roguewhatever.

I know what everybody says but I can’t recommend this game to anyone used to playing roguelikes/roguelites.
don’t get me wrong, it is just as good as everybody says, but replay value revolves more around the story than around the gameplay, which is pretty weak and feels even less roguey due to the limited amount of stages.
it might hit the spot for most people, game is great and all, just not when it comes to the roguelike aspect of it.

damn I got like 100 hrs on steam and might buy it for my switch lol

With alot of issues i’ve been having with my Steam Deck as of late, i’m looking to get back into my Switch for primary portable gaming. I really hope the Switch 2 or whatever is back compat. How good/bad are sales on Switch for 3rd party/indies compared to Steam?

I’m a huge BOTW and TOTK fan……would this game be at all for me?

Looking at it purely from a roguelite perspective, I gotta say I (think) I regret getting Hades. You get new dialogue from characters every time you fail, and I find it slows down the pace of the game too much for me. When I die, I want to jump into the next run ASAP, but instead I feel obligated to hear all the new dialogue before starting my next run. One character is particularly annoying to listen to, and she almost always has something to say.
I guess I could just skip talking to everyone, but I get the feeling I’d be missing half of the game if I did that.

This is one of the best games this generation imo
DragonZnork
Got 100-ish hours on it, it’s worth every single one. Trying and testing boon combos and weapons is really fun.

As someone who has broken their rougelike cherry with children of morta and thoroughly enjoying, how does Hades compare?
Drew-mageddon
Just in case anyone’s on the fence, FUCKING BUY IT. Fantastic, and it’s really not my favorite type of game
