The battle screen is extremely reminiscent of Earthbound:
* Top of Screen: A running chat log of what is transpiring in the battle.
* Center Screen: The enemy sprite floats in front of a psychedelic background pattern.
* Bottom of Screen: Your 4 characters, each represented by a rectangle with an absolute minimum information (just HP and maybe status effects like Poison).

It gives me Cartoon Network vibes. Not too found about that loop thingy. I’ll keep an eye on it anyways.
