I can’t wait for friday man!
I cannot wait to play the new Mario game on Friday. Getting everything on my to do list done so Friday night I can just be immersed in this game. Bonus my fiancé wants to play it to. It’s been years since I’ve been interested in a 2D Mario game, I think since the 3DS days. I’m hyped for wonder!
I hope this game does fantastically well. Creative, artistic, and pure fun focused games need to be rewarded. Quality 2D platformers are gaming in its best form.
Every talk heavy, follow this Npc, too big for my time open world needs to be reminded what’s important.
I’ve never been a huge Mario fan. I grew up on the original NES and definitely loved Super Mario Bros 1-3, but then I just kind of out grew the franchise; however, this new game looks like a blast. Glad to see positive reviews and I may even pick this one up if it goes on sale this holiday.
Every clip I see from this game increases my hype. It looks incredible. Definitely an A+ effort from Nintendo.

Edit: Ok, it appears EPD 10 (pikmin, mario maker, nsmb) did in fact make this game. After how bland new soup was I didn’t think this was them, and so soon after Pikmin 4!
The initial reveal in the Direct blew me away and had my jaw dropping as it was, I’m so excited! Can’t believe it’s almost here already.

Man I played the demo and it just didn’t hit for me. Not a fan of the elephant power up for sure.

I really need to try out a demo. I loved DK Tropical Freeze and Rayman Legends but the latest 2D Mario games just haven’t grabbed me the same way. I’m not sure how hyped to be.

My best friend was planning to drive down to play it all weekend with me and my brother, but unfortunately he had something come up so he won’t be able to come down until the following weekend. Since we wanted to preserve the experience of all playing it for the first time together, we’re all gonna wait until next Friday to play it. Pray for me lol.
All these great reviews but I just cannot get excited about it. It doesn’t look like it does anything substantially new and the fact it doesn’t sound like it has any ‘hard’ levels just puts me off.

Planning on using vouchers for this. One for Wonder, and one for some game I don’t really need. Undecided of which so far.
Torn between popping the other half of my TOTK voucher on this or waiting for SMRPG in the hopes that it’s good.

Is the local multiplayer toddler friendly? Can I be player one and essentially drag other players if they can’t follow?
Been playing Mario for 33 years and am always stoked when a new one comes out. Can’t wait to play this with my kiddos.
I haven’t played a 2D Mario game in years, I was pretty much sold on it since its announcement but it’s still good to know that a lot of people seem to be enjoying it
Ah man, wish this was a sequel to Super Mario 3D World. That game was crazy fun with multiplayer. As far as 2D Mario games, I got Mario Maker 2, so for better or worse, I’m set for life
