I fancied a challenge, so thought I’d have a crack at Cliff using my Ultra League team to see if it was possible.
So I have Virizion (DK, SS), Greninja (WS, HC) and Registeel (LO, FB).
I burned his shields with Virizion, finished off Aerodactyl and Gallade with Greninja, then gave Tyrannitar two Focus Blasts to the face from Registeel for the win. I managed to finish with all three Pokémon, albeit with not much health!
What’s the “worst” team you’ve beaten a rocket leader with?

Hell, I think one time recently I beat a leader with just my Counter/Cross Chop Machamp, didn’t even do a single swap
I’m barely level 22 so I had a grunt keep wiping me out with a snorlax, I tried doing fighting types but mannnnn that think would just smack so hard that by the time I got to the final Pokémon I’d just get wiped and eventually gave up after failing like 5-6 times
I solod a rocket leader with my GL scrafty before. He had type advantage in all of them and power up punch is one hell of a move.
