I was doing some further research and it appears that they returned a few tracks from previous games, which is alright, until you realize they have brought back 2 SUNSHINE TRACKS and jack shit for Galaxy. this a fat middle finger to people who grew up with galaxy, what makes this more stupid is that sunshine only sold 6 million copies whereas more people have played galaxy with 13 Million copies, and even Galaxy 2 sold more with 7 million copies.
You’d think that the game renowned for having an amazing soundtrack would get SOME KIND of spotlight? oh no. and yes you could argue that “Oh koji kondo didn’t make as much music for galaxy as he did with 64 and sunshine” He could of fit in good egg galaxy or starship Mario, as I think those would perfectly fit in with Wonder’s aesthetic.

But no. Nothing for galaxy, this just sucks because Galaxy was my second mario game, after 64 DS. I might write a formal email to Nintendo but how this made me a tad bit upset. It’s a bit unfair how there was two sunshine tracks, when that second slot could of went to Galaxy.

Holy crap what is up with the dumbass takes about Super Mario Wonder on this sub? Them not having a track from SMG is not them saying they hate Galaxy. They just didn’t feel any of the tracks from Galaxy fit.
So I saw the post from the other day, and something I don’t think was mentioned is that when you collect a royal seed in Wonder, it plays the same jingle from Galaxy as collecting a grand star.
Everyday some posts on this sub and in general gamers make me realize how right Mike Tyson was right, social media made some of you way too comfortable saying stupid things online.
Maybe we should start encouraging bullying more.
I was actually super happy with the fact that nintendo gave sunshine some representation. 3D world was full of galaxy nostalgia for me so it was cool getting to see nintendo give some fanservice to the other games as well! Plus the movie had some galaxy representation in the credits, so there’s that too! Galaxy may be my favorite game of all time, but it’s nice seeing other games in the series represented too yknow? It’s more fun when we get a variety instead of referencing galaxy every game. that’d get boring after awhile.

Sunshine is pretty overlooked as far as 3D Mario games go. So I don’t mind it getting a little extra representation.
