I remember when they used to give legendaries on the 7th day research rewards before i went on a break from the game and man those were the days. I got a shiny moltres from that. Now niantic is leaning inch by inch to pay to win

Love the design of mega chomp still goinf to grind mega energy for it even thou i have a lvl 50 best buddy ribbon, Hundo Groudon with a surpluss of Primal Groudon energy and is Primal lvl 3. and a lvl 50, beat buddy ribbon, 93% shiny Rayquaza with an even larger surplus of Meg Ray energy and it is Mega lvl 3. Both have best possible movesets, as my lvl 50 hundo Groudon runs Mudshot, legacy Precipice blades and legacy fire punch. As for my lvl 50, shiny 93% Ray it runs dragontail, Breaking Swipe & Dragon Ascent, and despite having a maxed out of the best #1 Ground and best #1 Dragon and #1 flying at the same time, im still going to grind mega chomp energy and max out my 98% Comday Chomp for its Mega, as even thou its not #1 for either of its types, but for what itz worth, it atleast #2 overall in both of its typings and granted i already have maxed out of the #1s fot both, #2 is still not a bad spot to be and Meg Chomp does cover some niches over P Groudon and M Rayquaza. Such as Dialaga raids and i lovr M Chomps design
I wish Mega Garchomp came with Earth Power but I am pretty sure that is not happening. I have a hundo Garchomp with dragon moves and no elite charged TMs.
I struck gold last week when I battled a rocket grunt and caught a 98%shadow gible. I evolved it right away all the way I'm currently farming candies via buddy and pvp/raids. That being said I'm not sure if I need a mega Garchomp since I caught it, but the candies from the Garchomp raids will be useful to level up my shadow Garchomp
I’ve been waiting for Mega Kangaskhan so I can finish my Kanto Dex for Shiny Mew.
One cool thing about party play is you can now join a raid your friend is invited to even if you don’t know the host! Very cool needed feature. Otherwise it’s a pita super lame you can’t use routes at the same time

Finallyyyy, I somehow have missed every event that's had kangaskhan, so excited to finally get it and complete my kanto dex
yay another broken feature called party play, that by the way doesnt work in conjunction with routes . go figure and zygarde cells seem to be broken again 5+ routes with no cells , tried all the tricks and restarts at end of route etc. Why add features that dont allow you to play or use other game features? not being able to combine routes and party play is a real bummer. it feels like they are just shoehorning so much into the game all the sudden to the point there is so much peripheral activity actually catching Pokémon seems to be an afterthought
