Only been playing a few weeks.
Would this go Hundo if I purified?
Is it worth it?
Or do I do that thing that removed confusion, and work on him/her?
Not sure if it’s a trophy Pokémon or not.
Cheers and thanks

When you purify it gains 2+ in each category. From what i have seen in this reddit people dont purify high stats pokemon.
So purifying a shadow Mon gives a +2 in all of its stats, so in short, yeah, it would become a hundo. However, unless the base one has a mega, shadows are more powerful than their purified counterparts and overall more useful, albeit less tanky (20% damage increase, 20% defense reduction). So unless you are collecting legendary hundos or you are not gonna use it for PvP or raids I wouldn’t Purify it. But it’s your call. I believe Regigigas isn’t that good for neither PvP and PvE
my pogo advice is always: if in doubt, don’t do anything. you can always purify later but you can never shadowfy
Regigigas looks good on paper, and heck is is good IF it survives long enough in a battle for its power move to trigger.
This rarely happens. It takes so long to trigger its quintessential power move that it’s almost always going to faint first.
Thus, do whatever you want. If you want a hundo trophy, go for it.
Purify because it is useless as shadow
Technically, the [shadow ranks higher for ML at 215 vs 234](https://pvpoke.com/rankings/all/10000/overall/regigigas_shadow/) but neither are great.
The thing about Regigigas is it doesn’t have the best of stats, and then it is a normal type Pokémon. So you basically throw away STAB effective damage vs anything.
For that, it’ll pretty much always be a generalist option at best.
However, as another comment said, a Pokémon like this, there’s no meta use for today either way, you can always purify it later if you want, but you can never get it back into the shadow form. So, I’d personally just keep it as is.
For me, I’m sleeping on this research at 1/5, so I don’t have to do it and can get the next one when a good shadow Legendary comes out.
I’d recommend just keeping it a shadow and doing nothing with it, myself. Maybe one day it’ll get an exclusive move that may make it worth something. In the meantime burn a charged TM to remove Frustration from it.
Good luck out there and happy hunting!
