Inducing a rage quit by the opponent is the cherry on top of various devastating actions you could inflict. Fast move farm downs beating an opponent to a move, full sending a nuke move when an opponent expects a bait, etc. It makes me smile every time I see that long delay when someone quits, or a trainer’s mon goes limp and stops attacking. Knowing you could have made a person throw their phone across the room. I wish there was a rage cam that captured what the other person was doing in their rage. It’s the little things.

I swear there are matches where they have 3 shields, two hit to charge the charged move fast attacks, insta switch right before you throw a charged move….

I quit half of my battles to keep my ELO artificially low. I know it’s not nice for half of my opponents as I have played against some people who are rocking level 35 mons and mine are all level 50
I honestly don’t see the point of going for a high rating as it just takes so much time up and the reward isn’t worth it. I sit majority of the time at 1200-1500 rating but I would say I probably play closer to 2250 to 2500 rating.

I enjoy pvp because it is a reliable way of farming dust, and I like improving my team day by day and trying new things out. Lol it’s be a different story if I was in it to win it… I consistently only win half of the battles I play. The ratio has always stayed the same.

The only time I legitimately rage quit is when I’m tanking with level 1 pokemon and the mother f***ing opponent won’t attack to just end it quick.

I pretty much get to veteran and then stop caring, just do my sets for stardust. The number of matches I’ve lost due to glitches or whatever, I can’t get too invested or I’ll throw my phone.

I changed my way of playing pvp. I’ll start a match and if I win lead I’ll stay. If I lose lead and they hard counter my safe swap I just quit. Way less stressful!
